MANIFESTO

We are Denver Digerati, an innovative nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and amplification of the digital arts. We are artist-centered and aim to create spaces of experimentation that embrace failure. Our organization endeavors to promote those fearless creators who aspire to express their unique visions through their art. Our platform is focused on inclusivity and the next generation of digital interdisciplinarity. We strive to break down accessibility barriers for EVERYONE through exhibition, education, community partnerships, an emphasis on play, idea development over skills-based repetition, and an unapologetic desire to foster artist success. We are committed to the open-minded, art-adventurous, rule-breakers, niche-focused, the independent artists, and all of you that are weird and wonderful. Denver Digerati encourages out-of-the-box thinking, equity through financial stipends, and the shared goal of empowering artists and viewers through our programming.

OUR MISSION

Denver Digerati is a nonprofit that supports artists working in digital animation and motion art. We believe in the freedom to create without restrictions.

Denver Digerati promotes those who aspire to express their unique visions through their art. We produce content, commission artwork and scholarship, collaborate on community events, run an artist residency program, and host the annual Digerati Emergent Media Festival (formerly the Supernova Digital Animation Festival).

DIVERSITY, EQUITY + INCLUSION

Our ethos of inclusivity is to provide myriad opportunities for a diverse community of artists and our constituent participants. We believe that equity is achieved by inclusionary practices throughout our governance, art exhibition, community outreach and education program.
